Collective Camera

As my contribution to the sharing library, I offered the group use of my camera. I left it lying around and people would take photos/videos when they wanted. Below, I've organized a selection of these. I like that there's no single author of this documentation. Instead, it's a multi-gaze (albeit semi-curated) view of our shared time together. This collection does not represent every activity that took place at 8 DAYS 8 JOURS 8. Rather, it documents some of what I found on my camera at the end of our gathering.

TO NOTE: This was the first year that 8 DAYS 8 JOURS applied for funding as a collective, insteaed of applying under someone's non-profit company. Some see this as a political move. Others argue that it just creates taxation nightmares. We have yet to decide which model we'll use when applying for funding next year.
