Joshua Ongcol / I want to explore gender expression as a fluid experience that is ever-evolving and reshaping alongside our shifting cultural perspectives and social dynamics. I grew up thinking that if I stepped outside of strict gender boundaries, that I would be treated lesser. I felt I had to hide, make myself harder and chase my self-worth by climbing a hierachy of gender expression. I hope to keep challenging these imposed ideas of what a person can be.
